COVID-19 Testing Sites in Caswell County and Rockingham County

As of April 1st, 2022, Compassion Health Care, Inc. will no longer offer community-based COVID testing at our CFMC and JAHC sites. However, CHC Mobile Health Unit will be continuing this service along with partners in the community. Please visit our Mobile Health Unit page for locations and times here.

CFMC in Yanceyville and JAHC in Eden will provide COVID testing as part of an in-office visit (virtual or face-to-face). If a patient does not wish to make an appointment with a PCP, an at-home testing kit will be provided, or we can direct the patient to a testing site provided by Optum.

FAQs

What do I pay for a COVID-19 test?

There are NO OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS to you. If you have insurance, you will need to bring your information with you. We will bill your insurance provider for all costs and there is no co-pay or deductible for COVID-19 screening and testing. If you do not have insurance, the CARES Act will pay for your screening and testing.

What are the screening requirements for testing?

Everyone is screened prior to testing. This screening is per guidelines established by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). After screening, testing will be provided to those with symptoms, who have been in close contact with a known positive case, people who live in or are in contact with high-risk settings, are over the age of 65, have underlying health conditions, who come from historically marginalized populations, are healthcare workers and first responders, and those who are frontline and essential workers.
