Do you want to get involved in helping advance your community’s health? Are you excited about making a difference in the lives of your friends and neighbors?
Volunteer at Compassion Health Care, Inc. and make a difference starting today!
Get involved and make a difference by volunteering.
- Volunteers at CHC are important in our daily operations. They are ambassadors for us and are often on the frontlines serving our community.
- Young CHC volunteers get excited about helping out. They share their passion and talents with others and develop the communication and leadership skills needed for future careers, whether in the medical field or anywhere else they choose to have a career.
- Our seasoned volunteers also share their experience and compassion for people and give their time to help others in need, or simply get them a cup of coffee while they wait.
- Whether it’s 2 hours a month, or 4 hours a day, volunteering at CHC is a rewarding experience unlike any other. You’ll be making new friends in the community and seeing old ones, so what are you waiting for? Volunteer today!
When Compassion Health Care, Inc.’s “Caswell Family Medical Center” was founded in 1978 almost 100% of our operating revenue came from federal funds. Over thirty years and several expansions later, only 25% of our operating revenue comes from federal funds. However, the number of uninsured patients that walk through our doors needing medical assistance has increased and continues to rise.
How can I donate a monetary gift to CHC?
As a not-for-profit organization, we are always in need of donations. Your contribution to Compassion Health Care, Inc. is tax-deductible. Of course, we will send a receipt, as the IRS requires, for any gift over $250.00.
Some companies match employee donations to the Center, so please check with your employer for its donation matching policy.
