    How do I set up an appointment with a provider by phone or video?

    The process starts with a phone call. Simply call our Yanceyville office at 336-694-9331 or our Eden office at 336-864-2795, and our staff will take you step-by-step through the telehealth process.

    What will I have to pay?

    Every health insurance is different; however, all have updated their plans to cover Telehealth. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card to learn more about your specific coverage.

    For those enrolled in the sliding fee program, you can expect your copay to be the same as it would have been if you had come into the office for a face-to-face visit.

    Lastly, our billing staff is available by phone to answer any questions or to help set up a payment arrangement that will ensure you have access to the care you need when you need it.

    What kind of equipment do I need in order to do a Telehealth Video visit?

    Any smartphone (iPhone or Android) will be sufficient. You can also use a tablet or laptop/desktop computer. You will need access to the internet as well as a device with a camera and microphone. Lastly, you will need an active email address. We can walk you through the rest. If you don’t have access to any one of those things, we might not be able to treat you using video.

    Do I get to see the same provider that I have established care with and am used to seeing?

    Yes! We understand the importance of the relationship you have established with your provider and want to ensure that it continues without interruption.

    I have never been to CFMC or JAHC. Are you accepting new patients?

    Yes! We are accepting new patients. Please call 336-694-9331 in Yanceyville or 336-864-2795 in Eden. We are here for you.

    Is CFMC’s Urgent Care offering telehealth?

    Yes! Urgent Care is open with face-to-face visits or telehealth visits. UC is open during normal primary care hours. If you have questions, please call UC at 336-694-1181.

    What about Behavioral Health?

    Yes! Call us at 336-694-9331 to set up your Behavioral Health appointment. BH is available for face-to-face and telehealth visits.
