HRSA Awards CFMC $21,000
The Health Resources and Services Administration has provided health centers across the U.S. with awards called “Quality Improvement Awards”, or “QIA”. Caswell Family Medical Center is a recent recipient of a QIA in the amount of $21,000. Health centers like CFMC are recognized for being one of the highest performing health centers nationwide as well as making a significant quality improvement gain from our previous year.
The staff and providers at CFMC have been making every effort to ensure CFMC gives our community the very best quality healthcare possible. Our core values are compassion, commitment, integrity, and excellence. Without these values, we would not be able to be where we are today, and that is to provide excellent patient-centered healthcare to all. Our vision of “healthy persons, healthy communities” is seen in so many lives here in Caswell and surrounding areas. It’s our goal to help everyone and to break down barriers to health, one person at a time. – William Crumpton, CEO
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) previously announced that they were giving $125 million towards the QIA to 1,352 community health centers like Caswell Family Medical Center across states, territories, and the District of Columbia. These funds will go towards advancing the excellent achievements already made by CFMC in the past year to improve quality, efficiency, and the value of healthcare delivery in Caswell County, NC.
