In practice, Zay takes a strengths-based approach while utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidenced based modalities to not only individualize assessments and treatment but to provide a judgment-free space for clients to be themselves as he joins them on their journey to mental well-being. Zay meets clients where they are and believes that clients are an expert themselves. Being a former foster youth and current foster and adoptive parent, Zay has firsthand experience of conflict, trauma, and anxiety.
