Dr. Nicole Powell is a native of North Carolina and is excited to be back home. She attended medical school at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. She then went on to complete her family medicine residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina. Dr. Powell is committed to underserved populations and is a National Health Service Corps Scholar.
Dr. Powell develops successful health plans by partnering with her patients and understanding their unique needs. Although comfortable seeing all types of patients, her special interests include women’s health and contraceptive care in addition to assisting patients with chronic medical conditions including diabetes and high blood pressure. She enjoys treating whole families.
