Quest not only provides laboratory services for our patients but also the community at large. Anyone can bring in a laboratory from any provider, anywhere, and have their samples collected from any of our medical centers. The results are then sent directly to the provider that ordered them.
Can Quest Labs at CFMC or JAHC help me if I see a specialist out of town but need lab work done regularly?
Yes! Simply bring your doctor’s order into either location. Ask for Quest and staff will gladly get you to where you need to be. No appointment is necessary to have your samples collected.
Will it cost me more to have my labs drawn with Quest at CFMC or JAHC?
Each case is different, but we are glad to help you figure it out. If you have insurance, your insurance company will determine what your fees will be. If you’re uninsured, we have a number of ways that we can reduce and maybe even eliminate any financial barrier between you and your lab results. Come in, talk to us, and we will give you the information you need to stay in control and make the decision that’s right for you.
How will I get my lab results?
Lab results will be sent directly to your doctor. In most cases, your doctor will have your lab results the next business day, however, some tests may take longer. Bring in your order and we will be able to give you an idea of what kind of turn-around time you can expect based on the specific tests you need.

How long does it take to get my lab results?
For patients receiving medical care from CFMC or JAHC Primary Care or CFMC Urgent Care, there are a number of tests that are processed in-house that provide same-day results.
These tests include:
- Wet Prep
- Urine & Micro-urine
- Pregnancy
- Strep
- PT/INR
- Glucose
- A1c
- Hemoglobin
- HIV
- Flu
If you are a patient in need of testing beyond this list, we use Quest Diagnostics. We will collect your sample, send it to Quest, and follow up with your results as quickly as they are made available to us. In most cases, this is within 24 to 48 hours. Other tests like biopsies and cultures may require longer processing times.
