Pushpinder Gill was born in India but grew up in Durham County in North Carolina. She is certified as a nurse practitioner in both family medicine and psychiatry. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Medicine from UNC Chapel Hill and a postgraduate psychiatric certification from the University of New Hampshire. She started her career working as a nurse with veterans and then later in oncology, rehabilitation, and public health nursing. Ms. Gill has experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care, urgent care, addiction medicine, and psychiatric emergency medicine. During her experience, she has always been drawn to working in mental health and believes in empowering clients and providing holistic behavioral care that encompasses harmony within the body and mind. She provides evidence-based care for a wide range of mental health diagnoses and is skilled in working with a diverse population of clients with co-occurring disorders that include medical and psychiatric disorders.
