PRN Provider - Urgent Care and Mobile School-Based Health
Full job description
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to work PRN in our Urgent Care and Mobile School-Based Health Unit, providing safe, accurate, and clinically competent care to patients and families, recognizing patient needs. The ideal candidate must possess a great work ethic, sound clinical judgment, be a team player, and demonstrate compassion for others as well as commitment, integrity, and excellence in their daily work.
Qualifications
- Completed a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Credentialing Center, or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- North Carolina license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (active and unrestricted)
- Controlled Substance Registration without restrictions from the Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA certificate”)
- BLS/ACLS/PALS required
The position provides PRN coverage for our Urgent Care and Mobile School-Based Health Unit. There are no guaranteed hours or set schedule. PRN Provider is contacted in advance when coverage needs are identified. Monday through Friday hours, no weekends, so the candidate must have some weekday availability.
The selected candidate must meet CHC’s employment eligibility requirements, including but not limited to successfully completing pre-employment drug testing and criminal background screening.
