Being around the medical field for most of my adult life, I have seen the effects that opioids and other drugs can have on people. More and more stories are being shared in the media recently, like the recent overdose of pop star Demi Lovato. One evening recently, horror set in as I found my husband unresponsive in his truck. He was turning blue. My nursing instincts kicked in and I was able to revive him with the Naloxone and keep him that way until the EMT arrived. I’m very glad I took the opportunity to get this free Naloxone kit because it ended up saving my husband’s life.
