Capacity Building Grant for Strategic Planning
CFMC Receives Capacity Building Grant from Danville Regional Foundation to Support Strategic Planning
CFMC has received a capacity building grant in the amount of $18,750 from the Danville Regional Foundation to cover the costs associated with developing a new strategic plan that will be used to guide the organization’s growth and development over the next three to five years.
“Having a solid strategic plan is a critically important tool for any business, but especially for CFMC. There has never before been a time of change facing the healthcare delivery system as a whole. CFMC is not exempt from the impact of these changes, and we have to be ready.” – William Crumpton, CEO, Caswell Family Medical Center.
With this grant, CFMC will partner with 330Partners, a management consulting firm that specializes in areas related to organizational development for federally qualified health centers. 330Partners will guide a comprehensive process that will collect regional data, conduct focus groups with community leaders across CFMC’s service area, and facilitate plan development alongside CFMC’s Board of Directors and Leadership Team.
In the end, CFMC will have a plan that emphasizes community collaboration to continue the trajectory that is already in motion to improve the healthcare delivery system for all those that depend on CFMC for high-quality health care services.
The plan is scheduled to be complete before CFMC’s fiscal year-end on May 31, 2020, and be ready for implementation beginning June 1, 2020.
