CFMC Receives Highest Level Recognition for BQPP
Yanceyville, NC, September 2018 – Caswell Family Medical Center has achieved the highest level recognition with Blue Cross Blue Shield’s (BCBS) Blue Quality Physician Program (BQPP).
The BQPP offered by BCBS is an incentive program for independent primary care centers like CFMC that provide high-quality, low-cost, and patient-centered care for Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC members.
Donita Hairston Accepted as MBF Fellow
Yanceyville, NC, September 25, 2018 – Donita Hairston, CFMC’s Medication Assistance Coordinator has been accepted into the Middle Border Forward fellowship program for the 2018-2019 session.

On September 19, 2018 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded over $396 million to combat the opioid crisis.

The Health Resources and Services Administration has provided health centers across the U.S. with awards called “Quality Improvement Awards”, or “QIA”. Caswell Family Medical Center is a recent recipient of a QIA in the amount of $21,000. Health centers like CFMC are recognized for being one of the highest performing health centers nationwide as well as making a significant quality improvement gain from our previous year.
